Nothing is ever going to change for the better until society comes back together and brings the western days back. When society stops living in fear, and stops being obedient, bootlicking cowards and starting to take action on our own is when it all changes for the better otherwise its just going to keep getting worse and worse.

1. CATS needs additional transit funds for more light rail to link all these new apartment complexes, and the city needs to rezone all areas within a 10 minute walk of a light rail stations for multi use to promote growth. We also desperately need the light rail connection from downtown to the airport if the city hopes to move to that next level of international appeal as a destination city for events. Look at the massive development along the blue line that has happened already. Imagine what will be built along the Silver line if we as a city can ever get it built 2. Density doesn't work without public transit access. It just adds more cars to the already congested streets 3. I would be ok with the 650 million for the stadium but there needs to be more penalties for Tapper if he were to leave. Just saying "pay all the outstanding debt to the city" is not enough. I think there should be an additional 20 million dollar per year penalty for pulling the teams out early. Also downtown desperately needs more parking deck space. They should convert at least half the surface parking around the stadium to 5 story parking decks with street level retail/bar/food spaces to really turn the area into a destination similar to the Piedmont row development

The renovation cost is $800 million! Not $1.3 Billion! $400 million in future maintenance and $120 in past investment shouldn't be included in the 50/50 split!

A water dept employee told me to contact the lab to test my water or I could drop off a sample. He mentioned an acronym (I think) of ESF for the facility name, I may be wrong. He said the lab was off Billy Graham Parkway in Charlotte, NC. Can anyone assist me with this without me calling 311 again as they did not actually document my issue accurately.

Good morning. A little goal that I see we are accomplishing that I do see, while summer is approaching, I see certain events in the Charlotte area. I see summer events, people traveling, and over here, where I'm attending, We have community meetings. Thats a start that I can tell you (the council). So it all depends on the time, such as staying connected, and how large the crowd grows. I say that to say as we stay in touch with you (the council) the crowd may grow. I think its just the habit of 'Knowing" and being "Aware". So again, we all have to stay in encouraged among the community and necessary family's and crowds. Hopefully the City Council will be at our next Summer Fest next year. Have a good day.

I love this idea. You right, it may take a while for people to realize and understand what exactly to do, but the fact that you guys is still working at it is satisfying. Different ways to stay in touch with your people, especially the ones in need is must for the culture to keep stabled and to move forward. Even thought I just found the city council I still do virity of things that can still help figure out the issue.

The Black Community has gone backwards since Jim Crow laws and Sundown Towns were banned....

If the Council dont mind, I will ask if we can have a way to find meetings and conferences. How do "we" catch up with these meetings so we can be updated?

You know, the race that makes up less than 13% of the American population but are 56% of the murderers in this country. What needs to be done is to shut down trap doors that homeless people be using to break in people homes how is the septic tanks and sewers that need to be cemented in filled up with water nobody should be living in a sewer or septic tank as a trapdoor that's how people end up selling their homes and moving away

They don’t want to hear anything we have to say. We are irrelevant because we can’t vote. They want us trapped in our neighborhood unable to escape should some emergency strike. These developments are going to destroy this community

I really admire this service. With all the information and help it provides for our communities this one is so awesome. Learn to earn program gave so me so much knowledge and I will be forever thankful. The library has so many resources but this one really sticks out for me. My mother and I received certifications, as well and connections with organizations that willingly help even after the program is done. Digital Navigators is one that will provide all the help you can imagine from A to Z. How great it is to meet a resource team to help with my digital needs.

What's going on with the city? From the outside it looks like city leaders are more concerned with money than they are the city itself. I love the city and want to see it continue to grow and thrive and be a great place for everyone to live and visit. But over the last few years I've seen city services get cut and it looks bad. What happened to the beautiful fountain at Trade and Tryon where so many visitors took photos and people played chess and ate lunch? Y'all tore it down and left it for years, then in its place put up an ugly fence that's been there for years. No one there seems to care. How long will it stay that way? Why have you all sold our busses and trains over to advertisers to place insensitive personal photos of people. People don't like it and I'm sure you know this yet you continue. It really looks tacky. Why did the city stop turning on the splash pads all over town? Seems like a money grab. Visitors see these things not working, it looks bad. What ever happened to the AMTRAK station? Looks like the whole project has been abandoned. What's going on there? Please love the city not the money. We've dealt with this kind of thing before.

If someone is Def/Blind they may not hear the button very well but at night if the area that the button is located in a dark unlit area then for someone who is legally blind but still has some vision it would be nice if there were a lighted ring that was around the button. It would be lit in one color, but once the button has been pushed, the light would change to a different color or slowly fade and get brighter over and over.
